Swivel is happy to announce that Gracia Ostendorf has joined the team as our new Content Marketing Manager.
Gracia brings experience in the higher ed industry from her most recent position with Miami University Regionals, where she created professional development content for online faculty. She additionally owns a small business called Unfettered Letters, where she teaches the art of hand lettering. From this role, she brings additional experience as a ‘solopreneur’ in developing online content, digital marketing, e-commerce, social media, email automation, graphic & web design, and sales strategy.
With an MSEd from Purdue University in Learning Design and Technology, Gracia’s education and previous experience in corporate training and instructional design within the tech industry have helped her develop a talent in taking complex information and sharing it in simple, accessible ways with a new audience.
Gracia is known amongst her peers for her drive, creativity, and curiosity. Along with a love for learning new things, these traits help her excel at developing content for any industry, coming up with the best way to present information to a given audience, and getting the job done as efficiently as possible.
Gracia’s work on content marketing in the higher ed space has been recognized through presentations at national conferences by Torrance Learning, HighEdWeb, and the Instructional Technology Council. Her work through Unfettered Letters has been featured in several local media outlets, such as Cincinnati Magazine and Cincy Refined. In addition to her Masters degree, Gracia has a BA in Spanish and Linguistics, and a certificate in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages).
Gracia lives in northern Kentucky, where she and her husband just bought their first home. She enjoys yoga & running, drawing, and spending time with family and friends.
